If you’ve ever sat in a café and watched the world go by then, chances are, if you’re anything like me, it was the people that captured your attention. Great cities and architecture make wonderful photographic subjects for sure; but as soon as you add people to the mix you add purpose to those locations; a reason for them to be there. That’s why most of my photos include people; even if they are not the main subject of the shot. But it’s when you get a bit more up close and personal with people that things get really interesting for me. Every face tells a story and if you look at a photograph and find yourself guessing what that story might be then you know you’ve done something right.
