portrait photography.

Human beings are what makes photography really interesting for me. Catching people unawares or in an uncontrolled environment is one thing; but taking the time to do planned portraits is a process that I also really love. In many ways, for me, the ultimate goal is the same; to represent someone’s personality with honesty and with creativity. It doesn’t matter to me whether the subject is a model, musician or a bricklayer; with the right approach anyone can and should be the subject of a great photograph.

That includes you; so get in touch if you’d like to have your photo taken in a way that captures who you really are. I like to use natural, unstaged environments; outdoors; in the home; anywhere where you can feel relaxed and be yourself. I’m not a fan of seeing the same colour scheme and sofa in every shot. Everyone is unique. I think the photos should reflect that.
